How it works, what it costs, and what we promise
jhovas.org prepares a formal privacy-rights notice asking your local Jehovah's Witnesses congregation to add your home address to its Do Not Call record. Here is exactly what happens, and where the limits are.
The four steps
- 1. You enter the address to protect. This is the home that should be left off visitation lists. Nothing else is needed yet.
- 2. We locate the congregation. We search public map data for the nearest Jehovah’s Witnesses meeting place and show you what we found, so you can correct it or enter one yourself.
- 3. You add your sender details. Your name, postal address and email go on the letter, because a privacy request has to come from the person it concerns to carry legal weight.
- 4. You choose delivery. Download the PDF free and post it yourself, or pay $9.99 and we print, stamp and post it for you.

What we can and cannot promise
We can: prepare a correctly addressed letter citing the privacy rules that apply in your country, locate the congregation responsible for your area from public data, and — on the paid option — physically post it.
We cannot: guarantee that any particular congregation records your request, promise a date by which visits stop, confirm delivery to a named individual, or give you legal advice. Congregation records are internal and we have no access to them. If visits continue, your written request is still the evidence you would need to escalate to your national data-protection authority.

- What does the $9.99 option include?

- How do you find the right Kingdom Hall?
- We search public map data for Jehovah's Witnesses meeting places near the address you want protected and pick the closest match. If nothing is found, you can enter the congregation's address yourself.
- Can you guarantee the visits will stop?
- No. We can guarantee that a correctly addressed, legally grounded written request is prepared and, on the paid option, posted. Whether a congregation records and honours it is outside our control.
