Privacy policy

What we collect

• The address you want protected from visits.
• Your name, postal address and email address, which appear on the letter as sender.
• The congregation address the letter is sent to.
• For paid orders, a payment reference from our payment processor.

We do not ask for a date of birth, a phone number, an identity document or a religious affiliation. We never see or store your card details.

Why we need it

A privacy objection only carries weight if it identifies the person making it and the address it concerns. That is the entire reason we collect what we collect: to produce a letter that a congregation can act on. We do not build profiles, we do not run advertising, and we do not sell or rent data to anyone.

Who it is shared with

• The congregation — receives the letter, which by design contains your name, your address and the address to be removed.
• Our payment processor — handles the $9.99 payment and holds the card data we never see.
• Our print and mail partner — for paid orders only, receives the letter and the addresses needed to deliver it.
• Our hosting and database provider — stores the order so we can produce and post the letter.

Nobody else. We do not disclose your data to Jehovah’s Witnesses beyond the letter itself, and we have no relationship with that organization.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept while they may still be needed for support, refunds or proof that the letter was sent, and are deleted after that. You can ask us to delete your record sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Email infojwblocker@gmail.com and we will act on it. If you are in the EU, the UK or another region with equivalent rules, you also have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority.

One honest caveat: once a letter has been printed and posted, we cannot recall it or remove your details from the copy the congregation has received.
