Terms of service and refunds

By using jhovas.org you agree to the terms below. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.

What we are

jhovas.org is an independent document preparation and mailing service. We are not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by jw.org, the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, or any congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. We are not a law firm and nothing on this site is legal advice. If you need advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified lawyer in your country.

What we deliver

  • Free option: a print-ready PDF letter containing the details you supplied.
  • Paid option ($9.99): the same letter printed, enveloped, stamped and handed to a regional mail network for delivery to the congregation address shown to you before payment.

We do not promise that visits will stop, that the congregation will reply, or that your request will be recorded. Those outcomes depend on the recipient, not on us.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate details. A letter posted to an address you entered incorrectly cannot be recovered or resent free of charge.
  • Only submit an address you live at or are otherwise entitled to make a request for. Using this service to send unwanted mail on behalf of someone else is not permitted.
  • Check the congregation we found before paying, and correct it if it is wrong.

Refunds

If your letter has not yet been printed and posted, email us and we will cancel the order and refund the $9.99 in full.

If we fail to post a letter you paid for, you get a full refund. If the letter was posted as described, the service has been delivered and the fee is not refundable — including when the congregation does not reply or visits continue, because that outcome is not something we can control or sell.

Where consumer law in your country gives you stronger rights than these terms, that law applies.

Liability

Our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
